Creativity!

I'm loving these socks! The colors have all been chosen by Brianna with the exception of the toes & heels which are green (the colorway is Forks by Younger Yarn and, as you can see, is a lovely woodsy green). The only changes that I will make to her choices is if one of the colors she chooses has recently been used on the sock. For example, she chose the orange last night and I'll be using it on the sock on the right since it was just used on the one to the left. I hope that makes sense to you guys. Anyway, this makes me want to knit a lot more than I've felt like in the past couple of months and I've got lots of ideas for next month and one for this month (if I get approved for a NEWT... some Ravelry folks will understand this). I'll be working on a sweater for Brianna. Did I already mention that? I will be using bulky yarn (my own Taliesin). It's nice to have my child asking for something hand knitted. Especially since it's something that she will be able to wear for a very long time.
