Crazy Socks!

It's April! I didn't finish my sweater in time to turn it in for my OWL, but I'm alright with that. This just gives me more time to complete the sleeves the way I'd like them to be.

I'm already planning another sweater for my next OWL and that one will be much more simple (and thicker yarn) and it will be Brianna's. She asked for a circular sweater and requested a special dye job, too. I am pretty excited about it and am looking forward to getting it started. Since this is the first project that she has requested (other than the Link outfit for her future child), I agreed without hesitation.

Progress on the Crazy Socks
For this month, I'm joining in a KAL of scraps and WIPs. Ness, over at Bunnies & Bettas, prompted a few folks to play along and I decided it would be loads of fun. I chose the Jaywalker pattern and am doing my stripes in 5-8-13 rows with randomly pulled scraps (they are all in a shoebox and Brianna picks out two colors for each stripe). So far I'm really liking the way these are turning out and I am looking forward to wearing them.

  1. They are more colorful than the last time I saw them. I love them!
