Catching up

It's been a pretty busy couple of months, but here's what has been going on -

First, Brianna's one talented young woman! Not only does she make really cool chairs, but she also bakes & decorates cakes.


She's pretty darn cool!

My knitting so far:

Socks for me - 


A scarf that represents the temperatures of the year (I'm a little behind on it) -

The shawl I've started over and over again (this is attempt #4) -


The blanket I've been meaning to start for over a year -

I still have a lot to finish up this month, but I'm pretty happy.

    Happy stuff! I love the weather of the year sock, I meant to do one of those projects, I love the idea of a physical representation of weather.

      I was pretty lucky that weather.com has a page with the whole month of temperatures. The only downside is that they only go back one month. At least that will nudge me to not fall too far behind.

      This one is a scarf, but I bet it would be awesome in any kind of project. Blanket stripes, pillows, washcloths, nearly anything!
